教学内容:译林版《英语》五下 Unit 8 Birthdays story time)第一课时与丽声北极星英语绘本《Emma’s birthday》融合。 教学目标: 1. 学生能初步尝试表达日期的表达方式。 2. 学生能初步朗读并理解语篇内容,厘清 Su Hai Mike 生日的时间和生日活动。 3. 学生能用 Emma 的心理状态复述 Su Hai Mike 的生日。 4. 学生能理解人们生日开心的原因,并能懂得感恩父母、朋友以及所有关爱自己的人。 教学重点: 1. 学生能初步尝试表达日期。 2. 学生能用 Emma 的心理状态复述 Su Hai Mike 的生日。 3. 学生能理解人们生日开心的原因,并能懂得感恩父母、朋友以及所有关爱自己的人。 教学难点: 学生能用 Emma 的心理状态复述 Su Hai Mike 的生日。 教学过程: 教学环节 学生活动 设计意图 Step 1. Warming up T: You know my name. Do you want to know more about me? 通过老师的 rap 活跃课堂气氛。从 rap 中了解老 师的活动,由此引出 birthday 主题。Listen to the rap. T: What do I do? T:When do I do these? T: Yes, I do these on my birthday. Today we are going to talk about birthdays. T: So what is birthday? It’s the day our mother gives us birth. S Step2: Pre-reading T: Are you happy on your birthday? WhyT: Look at this girl. She is Emma. Today is her birthday. Is she happy?Why? T: Let’s go and see. S: You have a big cake. ... . S: I think you do on your birthday. S: 生日。 SYes. Because I can have a big cake. 通过询问学生生日开不开心,引出绘本中人物 Emma 的不同,因为该人物在生日这天不开心。 通过猜测 Emma 为什么不开心,激活学生的兴趣 和思维,带着问题了解 Emma 的不开心的原因, 原来是父母忘记了她的生日。Step3: While-reading T: So Emma goes to school sadly. 1. Look and answer T: Miss Li is talking birthdays with the students. Whose birthdays are they talking about? 2.Read and find T: Are they happy on their birthdays?Please read and find. 3.Read and find (1)T: When is Su Hai’s birthday? Can you read and find? T: What about Su Yang’s birthday? T: Pay attention to the sound of “the”. S: No. Maybe she ... S: Her parents forgot her birthday. S: They are talking about Su Hai and MIke’s birthdays. S: Yes, she has a great time. Mike has a lot of fun. S: It’s on the eleventh of May. Emma 不开心地来到学校,引出 Miss Li 和孩子 们的谈话主题,通过看图了解到他们在谈论生 日,且谈论的是苏海和麦克的生日。将 Emma 与文本人物进行融合。 通过主问题“Are they happy?”来了解全文,突 出苏海和麦克的开心,与 Emma 的不开心形成鲜 明的对比。 通过阅读了解苏海和苏阳的生日,通过阅读日期 以及寻找日期,让学生对日期形成音、形、意的 概念。通过日历中的其他日期,尝试自己读日期, 做到由扶到放。T: Look at the calender, can you find Su Hai’s birthday? How does she feel? 用细读的方式了解苏海的生日活动,并对学习苏 海的生日活动进行提炼总结,并将提炼出的方法 运用于学习麦克的生日。 小组合作,运用上述方法,对麦克的生日以及生 日活动进行小组合作学习,并进行小组汇报。通 过合作,使每个孩子都能参与课堂。 以本课主人公 Emma 的心态来复述课文,再次感 Emma 的心里状态,以突出 Emma 的不开心, 跟后续的开心形成鲜明的对比。通过该板块,不Step4: Post-reading 1.Retell T: If you were Emma, what will you say? Can you be Emma and try to say. 2. Emma is happy T: Look at Emma. How is she? Why is she happy now? Guess. Let’s go and have a look. 3. Summary We are happy on our birthdays. We are happy with family, friends and love. Because they all love us. So don’t forget their birthdays. 4. Learn how to make a plan . T: I know my mother’s birthday . Can you Work and report in 4. Everyone says happy birthday to her. 仅让学生了解文章,厘清文章脉络,同时训练了 学生的语言能力,更是为后续故事做铺垫。 通过板书,让学生感知,人们生日开心是因为跟 家人在一起开心,跟朋友在一起开心,因为有惊 喜而开心。之所以开心是因为这些人爱我们,因 此引导学生懂得感恩,也要记得朋友和家人的生 日,并为他们过生日。 通过看老师的为母亲的生日计划,引导学生为自 己爱的人做一张生日计划,作为家庭作业去完 成。体现了基于主题意义下的作业融合。 在家庭中再次与绘本继续宁融合,通过绘本辅助 学生学习语篇,通过语篇激发孩子对绘本的兴 趣,体现融合课外资源对学生的作用以及教育价 值。make a plan for your family or your friends like me?
